Unlike some poor quality lithos, the color and clarity of this print is unmatched, and an exact reproduction of the original, credited to the Giclee method of reproduction. As an artist, I wanted to create the very best quality print that was available, and after much investigation, I decided on the Giclee process, which is far superior to the 4 color litho process.

The paper, which is 100% rag, is also 100% acid-free, and contains an alkaline buffer (such as calcium carbonate) that's added to neutralize the acid-forming chemicals in the atmosphere that can be absorbed by the paper. As the paper ages, the PH level will gradually drop, but the paper remains white and strong. The water-based inks used in this process are fade resistant to provide long-term lightfastness. It's said that these prints have an expected indoor display life of more than 100 years before noticeable fading occurs, so internally, these prints are made to last!
