Guest Alamedasam
Need the advise of you experts! This was my Great-Grandfathers car. The family photo was taken on his ranch in the early 1900's.My Grandmother told me the car was a Crow-Elkhart. I need help to identify the year, make & model if possible. Thanks in advance. nzcarnerd
Could be a Crow-Elkhart. If so it is not earlier than 1911, the year Crow-Elkhart started. From the styling it is not later than about 1913. It looks to have electric lights so I guess the later year is more likely. They built a range of models and from this pic I don't think you would be able to tell which one this is.
Dave Mellor NJ
Here's a 1912 Crow-Elkhart in the Stone Mountain Museum. Use your own judgement.
Guest Alamedasam
You are right, now that I think about it, my Grandmother looks to be 12 or 13, & she was born in 1903. Thanks.
Guest Alamedasam
This looks to be almost the exact same car. It's also the first photo I have seen other than mine. Thanks for the pic!
Binger
Might be a bit later than '12 but not much. It looks like there is electric headlights on that car
