Povertycove
A friend discovered this 1930 Franklin sedan in a garage in Sarasota. Serial number 45203351L11. It was a frequent Trek visitor, up from Long Island, thirty years ago. The owner is asking $22,000, and I pass this on just as a service to fellow club members. The owner does have some extra parts that will go with the car. I have made a light inspection of the Franklin. And it seems complete and healthy, though I did not hear it run, and it has not run in some six or so years.
Bruce E F
While I assume it is long gone, did this car find a new home?
Povertycove
No, it's still sitting there. The fellow who owns it is unrealistic about its value, and, in addition, is quite stubborn. But the last time I saw the car it seemed to be a worthy candidate for restoration. With some amount of work it might be drive able as is.
Bruce E F
Do you remember the colors of the car.? Can you give the owners contact information in private?
Povertycove
The body is the standard Fanklin brown with black fenders. The wire wheels look good, and there are six, as I recall. Message me and Ill get you in touch with my friend, who lives a couple of blocks away from the car.
