Guest runnerkid101
I'm buying a used set of wheels and tires(hopefully). They're 17x8 +45 offset with 225x45 tires. Will I have any issues? What should I be prepared to come across?
Barney Eaton
That is like saying I am marrying a woman with 7 kids and I used to be married to her mother....... will I have any problems?Actually they will work......they are smaller in diameter than the 15" that comes on the early cars so when it shows 62 mph you will actually be going 60. Because of the offset and 8 inch width, there should be on problem on the back but the outside of the tire might hit the fender under some conditions. The better choice in 17 inch tires for the rims would be 225 x 50 r
