Dave Gelinas (XP-300)
Hello To All.I came across a photo of an interior of a Buick Convertible.Note the Buick shield. Can anyone identify this Buick?I don't recall ever seeing this Buick shield on a Buick.I may have I just don't remember noticing it.I'm certain there are many of you that have.I'm thinking mid fifties. I have done several internet searches, but have found nothing. Please post some pictures if you have any.Thank you.Dave

billbuickgs
I would say preproduction 1959 or 1960 . Steering wheel is not a production wheelor the door waffle pattern .My 2 cents

Dave Gelinas (XP-300)
It could be a Caddy. Here is more of the photo with the seats.(Side note) I do not own this photo. Which is the reason I have not shown all of it.What is shown is the rest of the car's interior. I hope this helps some of you out, because I'm stumped on this one. variablepitch
Looking at the frame of the vent window and the crest, I think it's a '59 or '60 Mercury. That's not the vent frame of a '59-'60 GM brand, IMHO.

Marty Roth
The windshield certainly peg the year as 1959-1960, but the waffled door panel and crest may make it a one-off, a dream-car, an after market custom ???
