trimacar
No, I don't believe Dodge ever made any such thing as a "2 speed". I would guess that they aren't familiar with car, and the backwards shift pattern has them confused. Dodge enthusiasts and a lot of other people know this, but during the early years DB shift pattern was left/back reverse, left/forward first, right/back second, and right/forward third. Once you get used to it, it makes intuitive sense, to go backwards you pull shift back, and start forward push it forward, and then when it's in high (third) gear the shift lever is out of the way forward.... zeke01
One of the advantages of that pattern is that anyone riding in the middle doesn't have a shift lever in his lap in third gear. Zeke
