jimkf Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 I have a Carter M998S fuel pump that I acquired but don't know its correct application. I was using it on my 54 Kaiser while the correct pump was being rebuilt so it must fit something in the mid 50s, if that's any clue.Can anyone help? Craig Gillingham Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I have a 50's Carter catalogue, and the M998S is listed as being for a Kaiser-Frazer.I know nothing about Kaiser-Frazers, and I'm just stating what's in the parts book. It says,M998S-Single pump-Kaiser-Frazer-with electric wipers-1946-54 -(OE 1953-54)(pump at front of engine).I think the OE reference, means it was original equipment in 1953-54.Hope this helps.
