37 dodge D 5 coupe

Has anyone put an old school dodge v8 in a 37 dodge coupe, small block or an RB block. The reason I am asking is I have never converted an old coupe to a v8. Just asking to see what unforeseeable problems I am going to run into, like cutting the fire out, can I use the original steering column? If ya have any suggestions I would like to hear from you. I plan on using a auto trans with a dana 20 rear axel.

You will most likely have to deal with the steering box being in the way.

I have done several of these and I like the C-4 Corvette cross member and suspension over the kits that are available.
