MAG473
Looking for replacement part 4 cylinder magneto wire bracket. This is a rectangular block the wires pass through. The original may have been bakelite or similar as it is crumbling. I could make one out of wood but thought I would try this first. The car is a 1913 Metz, should be a somewhat universal part.Wayne
JV Puleo
Make one out of a block of phenolic resin ... the stuff with either paper or linen embedded in it. The resin is essentially the same thing as bakelite but can be machined. Its a PIA to work with as its very abrasive to the tools but extremely durable. Its also relatively expensive but I've bought odd blocks of it on ebay very reasonably.
