West Peterson
Is there something downloadable that explains how newsletters are scored?
R W Burgess
Is there something downloadable that explains how newsletters are scored? The link below is the way they USED TO BE scored. Of course it's very outdated now, but it will still give you an idea of what most scorers are looking for....excuse me, WERE looking for! http://www.aaca.org/images/efitor_manual/Chapter_7.pdf
DAVE A
Back on Feb 14th Wayne put a link to the scoring sheet on this forum. If I was good enough at this to copy it here I would do so. It does, however, give a pretty good idea of how they are scored!!
R W Burgess
I should have mentioned Dave that the old "Score sheet" is near the bottom of that attachment linked above. Most of it is still relevant with some changes to score values and other minor changes.

GE Dictator 1928
Is there a list somewhere of editor winners (master, merit, excellence, etc)?
R W Burgess
Keith, it is generally published after the Annual Meeting, as a lot of these awards are a BIG surprise to some of the recipients. You don't want to spoil the show, you know?Hope to see you there.Wayne
West Peterson
I'm pretty sure that there never any "surprises" for Master Editor or Webmaster awards. They are all fully aware right now.

"Is there a list somewhere of editor winners (master, merit, excellence, etc)?" He was speaking of the other awards too, West. They are given out after the President's Dinner in Philly, or mailed if no region/chapter member picks them up.
GE Dictator 1928
I was just wondering. I don;t want to sound rude, but I guess after being presented with Master Editor for two years in a row, I would have thought possibly I would have received at least merit this year, but I guess not. R W Burgess
I would have thought possibly I would have received at least merit this year, but I guess not.Keith, even if you missed a Master this year, from your past history, I'm pretty sure you will get an Excellence. You will probably have to wait until after the President's Dinner in Philly to know that though.
