I'm junking the Teves brakes and going Hemi's way.

Master cylinder is going bad and I won't install a rebuilt master on anyone's car much less my own. There might be a good rebuilder but I'm not going to find out.

Our master, even our pressure switch are readily available brand new if you don't mind paying an extra $500 for the shinny green box with a gold embossed Jaguar on the side.

Can't fault you for wanting to change the system after fighting this problem for a month and Hemi did put up one heck of an easy to follow plan to get this job done. My personal preference for brakes is to upgrade, not down grade, even though I know from experience that honking the horn means nothing and nothing is more educational than the sound of screeching tires to that idiot that stupidly pulled if front of you and you can't get that with ABS.

Steering while stopping for those times when you absolutely positively have to is worth the trade of instant sound at the time, to sounding the horn a second after the emergency has passed and though adding stability control from a newer donor vehicle might take longer to install it will help to keep you from getting sucked into the ditch and spinning across multiple lanes as you fight your way out. That and the parts you need will probably all come from the same vehicle, which makes for one stop shopping making this my choice of alternative for time my day comes.

Of coarse before I go through all the trouble of converting my brakes I would check with these people first http://powerbrakeservice.net/teahybrbopa.html
