The blue car looks to be Dark Blue Poly. The red car looks to be a sort of Candy Apple Red. I don't think it's a standard Pontiac color. You can go here to see the color names....http://www.autocolorlibrary.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1979-Gm-pg01.jpg

The 1979 Dark Blue was GM color code WA7103.

It was used in 1979 only.

I found the following supplier codes at paintref.com,http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?type=paint&paint=19496&ditzler=3121&syear=1979&smanuf=GM&smodel=Pontiac&sname=Dark%20Blue:

Ditzler/PPG # 3121

Dupont # 45801LH (Lucite acrylic lacquer), 45801A (Centari enamel) or 45801DH (Dulux enamel)

Sherwin Williams # 30222

[TABLE]

<tbody>[TR=class: odd]

[TD]I agree with keiser31; that red was not a Pontiac production color.
