Guest TomB
Other than mild soap and water, does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning vintage gauge faces without harming the original finish? Thanks in advance.Respectfully,TomB
Stude Light
I've used dish soap and water, but for more stubborn stains I have used both starting fluid and naptha. I've never had starting fluid remove any paint or stenciling but you need to be a bit more careful with naptha (gentle cloth wipe).Scott
Larry W
Yeah, be careful with the naptha. I once saw a guy try to use naptha to remove a stain from his necktie and it lit up on him.
