Guest buickkuhn
I seen this on another site and had to share what were the developers thinking . I wonder if other automakers made these threw out the years also . If you have pics post them up to show the world that designers dream big ! Steve Moskowitz
There were a bunch of these made, though mostly smaller for use at airports.
joe_padavano
It's the Jetaway 707 airport limo, built by American Custom Coach Corporation, not GM. http://my.net-link.net/~dcline/limoair1.htm
Guest buickkuhn
That would make a great cruiser , for a large family . You would have to build a barn to store it in though. Love the link had no idea that there were so many made for different things . Edited December 3, 2014 by buickkuhn (see edit history)
rocketraider
AQC liked the Toronado's flat floor and FWD layout, which meant another passenger could be seated comfortably without straddling a trans tunnel hump. But, Toronado were expensive and the conversions more so, and the Jetway just never really caught on like AQC had hoped.Greensboro NC airport had several of these. Found two in White's Salvage in Germanton NC and a third in Richard's near Asheboro. For whatever unknown reason neither junkyard would sell either parts or the whole car. I guess the Jetways have sunk into ground by now.
