Pat0366
Looking for help again and you guys have never let me down. I sent my front shocks to Apple Hydraulics for rebuild last week and have the entire front end disassembled. When I was cleaning the left side lower control arm I found a crack about 1 inch long on the metal plate that holds the coil spring. Is it OK to have it welded or should it be replaced? Also would like recommendations on a companies to buy coil springs and a front end rebuild kit from. Thanks in advance.Pat
Dynaflash8
I have a complete NOS lower control arm for a 1941-42. I've have to look it up to see if they are the same from 1941-53, and I don't know which side it is. If you're interested enough (weight) I can look it up to see. I had the box, so hopefully there is a part number on it.
john hanson
If the 1941 does not fit I have a few sets from 1938 up to late 50s. All nos. I will check to see what fit 1953. John Hanson
