Leif Holmberg
Just wonder if this gauge without the gas-gauge in the middle (as on 1923) is for 1922.Or is`t a ser.40 in 1923 ? (the gauge is for sale on e-bay eBay item number:131359846134)Leif in Sweden.
jbbuick22
Leif, The 22 used the small round gauges on all models except 54 & 55, which had the oval amp, fuel, oil press gauge. The 23 model 44 and 45 used the same round gauges from 22, the long wheelbase used the oval gauge. I don't think this is a Buick gauge. Leif Holmberg
Here is a 1923 ser.50s gauge in what you have written John. I thought this gauge was for all ser 40s and 50s in 1923..I don`t have any parts books for those years therefor I ask this question.Do you have any idea what the first pictured gauge will fit.Leif in sweden. jbbuick22
Lief, The 23 parts book shows that gauge as # 162325, and is used on models 47,48,49,50,and 54. Models 41 and 55 have a 22 gal tank and use # 162287 gauge. Models 44 and 45 use a round Sterling ammeter and a round National oil pressure gauge, fuel gauge on tank. Hope that helps, John 22-6-55 Sport touring

dibarlaw
Leif: I have already looked at buying a 1923-54 roadster (My experience already documented in my thread "Looking for a driver Buick") and thought about either of the 2 1923-55s recently advertised. (Too much of a project for my garage space and pocket book). I did consider buying the gage on e-bay to at least say I had a part of one of these cars. Maybe one of the 54s or 55s would magically appear! Also thank you for photos you sent to me long ago of the front interior floor of your 1925-25. I am finally getting around to doing the linoleum and aluminum edging.Progress so far. After
jbbuick22
Lief, Gauge #162325 has the fuel gauge marked to 16 gals. Gauge #162287 is marked to 22gals. So both would have to have a fuel gauge. They show up on Ebay . John 22-6-55 Sport touring
Leif Holmberg
Larry it looks great with the new linoleum.Buick 1923-54-55 are really good looking cars, let`s see what happens in the near future? And let`s see what happend with the 1924-47 I talked about ,I asked him to check the shipping price with all the Buick parts in his own 20 feet container those 500miles and I will buy the container at the same time if shipping is not to high.. Thanks John,it seems to be a hard gauge to identifie.Leif in Sweden.
