Also where can I find details about this model?The vehicle is currently displayed in the museum at Carnarvon, South Africa. It was last used in 1970 to transport my grandmother's coffin. Paul Dobbin Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 Appears to be a "drive away" chassis, defined as 1930 Chevrolet running chassis back to the cowl with hood, front fenders and optional running boards and rear fenders. Usually sold to after market body builders for commercial body construction to meet the ultimate buyers needs.All the major manufacturers sold a similar drive away chassis.
