Guest John STL
I just inherited 3 vehicles from a cousin one a 67 Buick GS 340 according to the trunk. Since a trunk lid can be easily changed out, to verify it is a GS340 i had the vin decoded. The decoder says it's a 67 Buick 2dr Holiday (hardtop) Coupe, special V-8, made in STL. So, can anyone tell me what i've got other than a lot of work ahead of me?

joe_padavano
If you type 1967 Buick VIN decoder into Google, you'll get a link to this site, where you'll find that a real 1967 GS340 will have a unique VIN that starts out 434xxx...As always, search engines are your friend. Guest John STL
Thanks Joe! I tried 2 different decoders and they listed the body style as 67 Buick Holiday Hardtop ( I thought Holiday was Olds.) But your info confirms my vin starts 434 yippee! I have a good car, no rust but some missing pieces. eng. and trans are original though. sooo now the fun begins. Thanks again.
