Guest fng985 Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 If you scroll to top pics you can see the "yoke" not with the ring , The guy I bought it from somehow broke part of the side off of the groove :mad:. When the tranny sits upright it don't stay on that shift ring and wont move it back and forth. I thought about welding a bigger spot on each side but not sure how that would turn out. 1st pic is how I found it and 2nd is how it should be. I'm assuming you meant "2nd/3rd" gear that is highlighted as "V" in the exploded view, first attachment.My BUICK MASTER CHASSIS PARTS BOOK only goes up to 1954 so there is a possibility that some later years or other makes ("2" = Oldsmobile; "3" = Pontiac) might also interchange.
