farrellg
Here are some picks of a truck I picked up this fall. Still doing some research. But thought I would share the photos of this unique truck. It is a 1941 WF-31. Was delivered as a flat faced cowl with no winshield. Sent to Chicago to be bodied as a mobile meat truck. Doors were mid truck both sides. Back had a ice box cooled with block ice. Oak racks for wares in the back. In center of truck was butcher block and cash drawer. Passenger side front, crates for live chickens. Truck would travel neighborhoods to deliver fresh meat. Most unique thing was the soft top for 1941. A bit late for a wood bodied, soft top truck in my opinion. Enjoy.
nearchoclatetown
Killer. Was the top fixed or did it open? It would make a nice camper!
farrellg
Fixed soft top. Just like my 30 and 31 trucks. Did not open until it gave way due to being outside. Floor was wood as well as all body framing. Sheet metal is body nailed to wood frame. Very unique for a 1941. Hope to find some body manufacturer some day when we start to disassemble. But have other projects first. This is at least a couple years off. Will post some interior pictures later.

nearchoclatetown
I have an early 60's Chevy that has turned into a yardshed. It was also a local meat wagon, similar shelving, etc. If you need any parts you need to come and get them. It's about to go bye-bye. dw
