1935 Dictator, more questions

RE 1935 Dictator:

1. Is it supposed to have welting? There is silver welting around trunk, but no welting around fenders.

2. What goes in the round space, between the sun visors, note ground wire? perhaps an optional light, one light is for center of headliner. see picture?

3. What are those parts for, see other picture -- there are 6 circular pieces, two are very rusty original, 4 are re-made by previous owner?

These parts came out of, but were not attached to, an otherwise gutted car interior. Ken, Deltaville Va.

The round space is for a radio speaker.

Ken ..the wire you see in your picture is a pull wire ...Studebaker installed these wires so you can pull the speaker wire ..if a radio was installed after the car left the factory...I found the same wire in my 37 Dictator when I installed the speaker between the sunvisors for Ear Level Sound !
