HistoryBuff
Not Mickey Rooney. But Mickey Cohen, mobsterHere's the story that sparks my question.http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/thedailymirror/2007/11/mickey-cohens-1.htmlI guess I can't get enough of reading about LA back in the day when it was hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys in LA law.I just read in this site that Mickey Cohen wasn't able to sell this car and sold it off to someone who displayed it at carni9vals, etc. I don't know why not--today it's legal to have a bulletproof car, there's a place in Oxnard that armors up SUVs.Anyway like to hear the fate of this car, whether it was found in some classified ad someday. By the way is it worth any more than a regular Cadillac of the same model? I heard some people collect gangster stuff
