Headlight Lens Size 1937 Doda Sedan

:confused:Hello all,

Kinda of a new to this forum. Hope someone may help. Just broke my headlight lens on my 1937 Dodge Sedan and I'm not sure what diameter I need to replace it with. I was able to find a couple of 8'' diameter I was told they would fit no go. If anyone could help that would be great.

Can't you just measure the other (unbroken) one? If you read Hemmings there is a long-time advertiser who specializes in headlight lenses.

Just in case you need to replace using instructions....1937 should be the same.

Having a real hard time getting the other one out to measure. I'm afraid if I push on it to hard I will bust that one as well.

Just go by the directions and you should be o.k. That is the only way to get them out and re-install them. Click on the directions a few times to enlarge them.

Put a moving blanket or facsimile under the car where you are working, for the obvious reason. They are not hard to get out, but sometimes hard to hang on to.
