Guest markrush
I need a set of two motor mounts that fit the Ford Mustang inline six cylinder 250 engine. They are unique to the 250 and are not the same as those for a 170 or 200. The part number for the insulator was C9ZZ 6038-B. They are about the size of a pack of cigarettes and have two studs facing up along the length and on the bottom there is a single stud facing down that is offset about a half inch (again along the length) from the center. Guest markrush
Bump. I'd also be interested if you know of a place that rebuilds motor mounts for a reasonable fee.
keiser31
Try Steele rubber company....or they may be the same on a Falcon. A LOT of Mustang parts interchanged with the Falcons.http://www.steelerubber.com/engine-mounts
GARY F
new ones from NAPA
Guest markrush
NAPA has them for the 1969 200, but not the 250. Entirely different I did not think of Steele. I can ask them if they would rebuild mine, but I was hoping to find a pair at a more reasonable price. Somebody must have a pair?
Guest markrush
Still interested. This isn't as easy a part to find as you might assume. For some reason they make motor mounts for all engines but the iL 250. Here are pictures of the 1969 iL six 250 insulators and their brackets.
