1922 paint question

On the 1922 Special Six, I'm using the optional blue body color. Is the firewall painted black or is it body color? Thanks, Earl

No official here but, bodies were fully painted before the drop to chassis. I would be surprised if the firewall was any color other than the body. This persisted through the 1966 production.

Actually, as per a previous thread here, in some years in the late 20's the firewalls were painted black. This however doesn't answer the question about the early twenties.

Packard painted the firewalls black, I guess it was easier to touch up than a color should a mechanic slip and scratch it. This is why I brought the question up. Packard did it though 1934, I think.
