:)

This one is for a 1934 De Soto Airflow SE. I had a '34 De Soto Airflow but the horn button didn't have an emblem in the centre. Maybe this was done for an export model.

Morning Folks

Jim thank you for that, I was going along that line myself but could not find any reference to the horn itself having the emblem so decided I was looking in the wrong direction. thanks once again for that

by chance Jim do you hail form Alberta ? and had a article written about you.

Thanks again

Morning Richard

Sorry not for sale part of my treasure chest ! but i do have a question to go along with this, would this badge fit a 1933 DeSoto headlamp band

like was shown by auburnseeker in Sept of this year? anyone

Thank you Gordon

Yes, it is the same type of headlamp band.

Yes, it is the same type of headlamp band.

Hi all

Thanks for that

I assume you mean the emblem that was on the horn button would fit the band and

not that this image is the same as the band shown previously as it is the same band

Thanks Gordon

It looks to be the same emblem, but I would not be able to tell if it is the same as the other emblem without seeing the mounting pins on the rear side.

Hi again

After many fruitless attempts of trying to upload system finally let me do it the next day 8-( ?

Finally got the image uploaded here is the back of the badge you cant see it but the threaded rod extends

a little under 1cm, way too much I would think for headlamp band to accept without being in contact with

the lens I may be wrong as I don't have access to one to check it out.

Thanks :)

One thing about those headlamp bands is the fact that they are curved outward quite a bit. I don't think that a little under 1cm would be too long. But, again, I would have to see the underside of one of those headlamp bands to be able to tell. It looks right with the alignment pin.
