Own the rarest of the famous “3 P’s- Packard, Pierce Arrow & Peerless” Looks and Runs Great! Ready to Tour and Show!Peerless is the rarest in the famous “3 P’s” Packard, Pierce-Arrow and Peerless of the late 20”s –early 30’s. Peerless was manufactured from 1900-1931 in Cleveland Ohio. Peerless did not go out of business with the looming Great Depression, instead the Board of Directors chose to stop manufacturing cars, and changed the manufacturing plant from building cars to brewing beer as an American franchise for Carling Black Label Beer. With the recent repeal of Prohibition, it was considered a wise business decision at the time. The Peerless motorcars sold in 1932 were actually inventory manufactured in 1931. The only true production car of 1932 was the one V16 aluminum bodied Peerless now on display in Crawford Aviation and Auto Museum, Ohio. In earlier years of the Peerless history, famed Barney Oldfield set world records for speed and endurance in the Peerless “Green Dragon”. asking $39,700 for more photos http://www.oldwheel.com/sales.html Brando Pistorius (813)917-9205 Tampa, Florida USA www.OldWheel.com Edited April 27, 2015 by Brando & Joanne SOLD (see edit history)
jeff_a
Brando and Joanne,Thank you for posting these great pictures of your just-restored car and congratulations on the award at the Lake Mirror Classic Concours. I was recently contacted by someone named Gordon, in Alberta, who just purchased another 1929 Six-81 Peerless. His is a doctor's coupe that seems to have a few parts missing or laying around in boxes of mystery parts(Instrument Panel, Cowl Band & Lights, Gas Pedal & Linkage, Door & Window Hardware, etc.). I directed him here to see a good example of a 6-81.Is your Peerless' body by Raulang, Murray, Peerless Body? Those are the most likely. As you know, I have cataloged 38 coachbuilders for the marque, so far. See "Peerless Coachbuilders" thread(last comments on 12/13/13). I'm guessing that the only marques with more coachbuilders were Packard and Duesenberg. jeff_a
Hi Bob,This Six-81 5-P Sedan sold back in October. Did you get to see it at the Pistorius Restoration booth at the Hershey Meet? I've never seen it in person, but it appears to set a new standard in restoration for a Six-81 Peerless, judging by the photos above, anyway. Now that they've restored and sold a 1931 Master Eight, a 1927 Six-90, and a 1929 Six-81, their next Peerless project is a 1926 Six-80 2-Door Sedan.----Jeff Edited December 7, 2014 by jeff_a (see edit history)

Guest Brando & Joanne
Hi Bob, Joanne Pistorius here. somehow I missed your question on my emails. Jeff is right about our selling this particular car. But we have 2 more in restoration that you may be interested in. The 1926 will be ready for showing in January 2015. The 1930 won't be ready for a couple more months after that. If you are interested let me know your private email address and I can send you some photos, etc. Just email me directly at joanne@oldwheel.com or call Brando at (813)917-9205
