Trailer Hitch

I haven't seen any current information on trailer hitches - does anyone know of any providers of a hitch that will fit - work on our automobiles please?

I found this hitch & installation at a stand alone 'trailer & hitch' shop. 3-point attachment

with backing plates(on my insistence). Tongue weight @ 1000 lbs. I towed a small boat

trailer for an inflatable with outboard or two kayaks.

Think you meant trailer weight. That looks like a 1 1/4" receiver. Do you have a manufacturer/model number ?

Hi Folks and thanks for the replies....I have been totally unable to reply until now....I appreciate the suggestions and guess I will have to resort to U Haul. I only tow a 4 X 8 utility trailer and the last time I had a need for a hitch was for my coupe - I took a hitch from an old small Olds station wagon and had a independent shop modify and install it to the bumper and floorboard of the coupe and it worked fine. The U Haul will probably be much stronger - neater -better. Thanks again,

If you are referring to my last entry about the U Haul Hitch - I was just referring to your earlier post entry higher up or above in this string of posts in which you provided a link to U haul. In the link to U Haul a person may put in the year, make, and model of the owned vehicle (in our case a Reatta), and U Haul will come back with Availability and Pricing.

FWIIW the price of the Reatta Hitch was around $199.

Suspect it is the same hitch for a Riviera but are two different part numbers with just one digit different: UHI36913CH vs UHI36973CH wonder what it means ?
