The actual carburettor itself, is a Solex 'M' type, 26MHG is the model of Solex, the 26 refers to the diameter of the inlet throat, which would be 26mm. 'H' means it is a horizontal carburettor, the 'G' means the fuel bowl is mounted on the left. It would suit about a 1 to 1.5 litre engine.

I don't know what the inlet manifold is from, it looks stationary engine to me. I can't help with its exact application, however I do know the 26mm Solex were used on many 20's cars. Citroen B12's had them, as well as some Amilcars. Probably many others as well. The Bentley-Rolls Royce identification you've been given is a fair bit off course, and I'm sure it's not from either of those.

If you Google "Solex 26MHG" you'll see quite a few.
