Peter P
What was the cylinder at the top inside of the windshield for? I have seen those with a handle to hand turn the wiper blade. Not sure how the cylinder worked though?
keiser31
That cylinder is a (very hard to find in good shape) windshield wiper motor.

wayne sheldon
That type of pop-out flip handle was used on any number of trucks and pickups during the mid '30s. I recall riding in such a truck when I was quite young. It was probably a Chevrolet, and may have been a 1934 my uncle had at about that time. I have seen similar handles on other trucks including I think Dodge. I do not know one handle from another. Or the fit of the windshield frame either. But I think that is from a '30s truck. It should be of value to someone, but not a lot of money.I hope you can find a good home for it.Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Leif Holmberg
This windshield is for a car between 1920s-1932,almost every closed cars had that type of windshield during that time. After 1932 most of the wíndshiels was rounded in the corners.Leif in Sweden
Peter P
Thank you guys for the informative replies. I thought the dimensions might differentiate it somehow but they probably are all very similar Thanks againPeter
30DodgePanel
I have seen that pop out handle somewhere.Essex ? Find the handle and you will have your answer... Anyone have any late 20's early 30's door handle catalogs ? Possible clue is it came from a vehicle with a flat dash board due to the style and length of the clasp.
