MAG473
Rebuilding 1913 Metz engine. I see oversize Model T pistons are correct Diameter. Do not have connecting rods. Are the 1915 "25" rods the same?? Can a Model T connecting rod be used? Any help is appreciated.Wayne StowOronoco MN
MochetVelo
Yes, the Model T pistons will fit the Metz engine. I used "T" pistons from Egge. They machined them a bit to accept the Metz-style wrist pins. Not sure about the rods, however. I suggest you get an old Model T rod and see if it fits. Any Model T restorer will have some extras. Try Model T Haven. A new set costs about $450.Phil
