Guest BeeEffe
Hi everyone, I might have found a decent TC to purchase (finally) but now I am wondering about parking arrangements. I live in a city with limited parking possibilities and was thinking about the feasibility of street parking the TC. Given it rains a fair bit and we get the odd snowfall, I was wondering if I am heading into a whole load of trouble with rust forming on the car.</SPAN></SPAN>Clearly it would not be ideal to park the car outside but was wondering if it’s a risk I can take or definitely a no go.</SPAN></SPAN>As always, any input is much appreciated! Thanks guys!</SPAN></SPAN>
Bill Reichert
If your city doesn't salt the roads for snow you should be good. You might find the a water leak at the top of the windshield on each side which is cured with a little bit of foam weatherstripping there. You might want someone in US to check for rust before buying. Some of these cars have moved from our rust belt up north to Florida. My wife and I just met a young couple 25 or so from Milan on Oct 4! They have been here for 3 years in St. Louis.
Garnet & Gold
Unless things have changed in Italy, you need to more concerned about the radio being stolen. All radios were installed state side as the life expectancy in Italy when the TC was made was about 5 - 10 minutes.
Guest BeeEffe
Thanks guys @Garnet & Gold: things have indeed changed, no more in car radio thefts (touch wood).
