I had a sleeve installed in my 425 nailhead motor and was wondering if water can get between the cylinder wall hole and the sleeve and end up in the crankcase.Hole in the cylinder wall was about 3/4 x 2 inches. Thanks for any help.TeNugent ROA 12969...

The sleeve should be a tight press fit, which will seal adequately without sealer if done properly, as noted above. Any post-applied sealer runs the risk of flaking off and plugging the radiator. Assuming your machine shop was experienced, I wouldn't worry about it.
