Machinist_Bill
That particular type can be very elusive! To the best of my knowledge it was used 2 years only. (Mid '26 thru 27) One does show up on EBAY now and then if your not in a hurry. If you live near an industrial area a local electric motor shop should be able to rebuild that for you. Good luck to you!Bill
R.White
hello, just purchased a 1926 sedan and need to have the generator rebuilt or purchase one that is working. it is a 6 volt split system.ThanksI bought a rebuilt 6 volt generator from Myers Early Dodge. If you speak to either Tom or Cindy they should be able to help. Either a replacement or have yours rebuilt. You will need to say what type of shaft you have - either straight or tapered.Ray. Machinist_Bill
If your lucky there will be a tag on your generator.Early 1926 is a Type 6334 which is the straight shaft ends.Mid to late 1926 they changed over to Type 6334-B which is the taper shaft ends. This information according to my Northeast Service Manual.Bill
