At $600 and only 5 hrs away, was considering......Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

smithbrother
Educated, MEANS YOU NEED TO BE EDUCATED IN RUST REMOVAL, BUT MOSTLY REPLACEMENT/FORMING OF PANELS, ENTIRE PANELS. Dale in Indy

That's quite an edjumacation right there. Still, it would be cool to start a collection of early Buick customs. Hmmmm.... ol' yeller
I liked the logic of how when he got no bids at $600, he raised the starting bid to $8,000! Like that's going to work.
jackofalltrades70
When you don't get any bids at $600.00 by the educated peoples, you raise the price $7400.00 hoping the whackos come out of the cornfield!I had a lot of sheet metal for floors and rockers. Would just have needed some fityfo fenders to regraft the headlights back in. The trunk would have been a challenge no matter how you look at it. 3000+ hours in the original build. With all that rust, more like 6000hrs this time.Swapping out the engine, wiring harnes(custom), interior, etc. ROI.......(NEVER)!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
smithbrother
What he should have done was listed it at $600.00, but state RESERVE NOT MET, and set the reserve at a number at the price he actually wanted. That way he would have at least had a record of bids, and then could have decided if the price bid highest would work. IMODale in Indy
