Budtee
Most of the posts on hood liners seem to be old. I just got an 89 that has no hood liner at all. It is a low mileage car and I want to take care of it. From the posts I have read, the OEM liners do not last. I have researched them and it seems like an acceptable solution would be to use Dynamat and cut to fit.I am presently in Texas now and do not have the car here so I can't even see how the factory liner attached. There has been some reference to a template in the old posts. Can anyone give me a lead on how to get one. I will be going back to Pennsylvania in a month and I want to install some type of liner as soon as I get there. cowancom
http://www.fwdperformance.com/Store/Product.asp?IDCatalog=36&ProductID=724 here is a link for the Dynamat I used. Very nice. Keeps the heat from the turbo from eating your hood paint. Trim to fit-self sticking.
