Larry W
I'm probably way off, but my first thought is a hearse.
Dave Mellor NJ
That looks like a convertible body. There have been discussions here in the past about them. In the early teens most cars were tourings and some were offered with bolt on closed bodies for winter use. Back to summer they would be put up in the attic. Many were still there long after the car was gone and found by people like you.Note the way the back bottom edge rises up as if to match the top of the rear valance,
Larry Schramm
My thought at first glance is it looks like it is for an electric car.
