Material for door panels and headliner?

What type of material was typical for door panels and headliners in the 1920s? Mine has a silky looking black nylon. Looks good on the headliner but kinda delicate for the door panels.

My '29 was all mohair; doors, seats and headliner.....I think many use broadcloth on the headliner though...also, I think leather was used too. If you don't know what was original and you want a color I would choose your windlace first and create a color scheme around that....mine was originally a blue-green mohair and will probably have to have windlace custom made as I can't find that color windlace being made....just a thought.
