keiser31
Looks to be from an Oldsmobile with that star, maybe 1950s? Just a wild guess.
Fleek
Pontiac also used that star on the star chief models in much of the 50 - early 60 era. I have a feeling it may be from the interior. What size is it?
jajolee
it is about 16 inch longjan
wldavis
It also might be Lincoln or Mercury or Canadian Ford (Meteor). Anyone have a clue where on the car this would be attached?Exterior or Interior?
Realsteeljack
Of course you noticed that this bit of trim is pretty much damaged and dented .So value in money will be just a few cents in scrap , but to us its the historic value that counts We dug it up in a former RCAF base in France , in a place where they dumped their old scrap cars .It closed in 1967 and the cars got cleared as well .Now you know why we want to i.d it .Its currently in our museum , and if any one of you can name the car , that would be really fantastic.
