ashland
On a 1906 f should there be a tag or plaque with a model number or ser. # on the wood chassis ? should the numbers on frame and flywheel be the same? thanks
Mark Shaw
The numbers would not match even if the engine is original to the car. Buick used different numbers on the frame and engines in most prewar cars & trucks. 1904 - 1913 - Frame numbers are located in various places. Usually stamped directly into the frame or on a tag attached to the frame.
