Guest Lynn Wicker
Is somebody making reproduction hinges for the windshield. I might be able to reproduce them if I had one to look at and get dimensions but would prefer to just buy some new or used. I'm getting to old to keep reinventing stuff. Thanks Lynn Wicker
ply33
If I am reading the parts book right, and if they are the same for more than one body style, I think you are looking for part 450199. And it looks like that same part was used on the Plymouth closed cars for 1933. It would not surprise me if the same year Dodge cars used the same part. That might give you a little bigger search for compatible parts. You might want to check with N/C Industries in Sayre, PA as they make a lot of windshield parts for 1933 and 34 Plymouths:N/C Industries 301 S. TomP
Needed to size them up for my next project so no problem, at least they will be a record for someone.Have noted that there is up to 1/16" end float between the rotation faces i.e. 1 7/16" runs in a 1 1/2" slot.
