1937-38-39 Chevrolet Delco Battery

Hello

I was told what I have is extremely unusual and scarce,and wanted to know if anyone could add to it or verify it.

I have an original old Chevrolet DELCO Battery 6volt casing,that I was told was an assembly line battery only,and was only offered for a very limited time,as Delco was upset that Chevrolet put their name on their battery,and was quickly cancelled and never used again.

Was told DELCO said they don't put their names on Chevrolets cars,so why should they on their batteries.

It says CHEVROLET DELCO on both sides.

I believe it was available on 1937-38-39 Chevrolet cars,(Not Trucks),but not certain.

This battery was never available over the parts counter,and only came on the cars themselves when on the assembly line.
