1936 Buick Special Model 48 Victoria Coupe

Hi- I recently purchased this car, which for it's age seems to be in relatively good shape.

Does anybody know if the 36 Chevy wooden frame will fit the Buick door? I've heard yes and know and was directed to post my question here.

Thanks to Bob's Classic Auto Glass, I was able to get what I believe may be suffcient cross reference. They do have a fair return policy if the glass does not work out. The front and the back glass are definitely Buick. The side glass cross references with a 1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe or Coach 2 door. Body style 36-1001. I hope if the side glass works, then the wood should match up... I plan on using Classic Wood Manufacturing here in Greensboro, NC 336-691-1344 as they have a reasonable four week delivery time and I can take my doors down and see if the jig looks close...

these guys are about 30 min away from me. I stopped by their shop they are amazing. there were able to cross reference by 1936 Buick doors with 1936 Chevrolet sedan and have my wooden parts ready in 4 weeks.

Does anybody have a technical document on how to remove the axle. Is there a pin in the differential that needs to be removed to or would you you just use a slide hammer?

You might post these questions in the pre-war Buick section, or request to have this thread moved. While I don't know the answer, I know there are many folks there that likely do.

I am requesting this thread be moved to the pre-war buick section.
