I thought someone posted a link to a web site that specializes in 6 volt overdrive solenoids??

They're new but not cheap.

Seems strange you would have 3 that don't work as they are not really prone to failure. How are you testing them? You need a good strong battery and heavy cable/wire (jumper cables work well) to test them as they take lot of current (almost 20 amps) to operate. I remember some claimed they had some bad ones but that was because he was trying to test them using a 6 volt battery charger! That won't work, the charger can't supply the 20 amps needed activate them. Another thing you can try is open one and clean the pull-in contacts. If those contacts are burnished it won't activate. I had some pictures somewhere but I can't find them now. There are two sets of contacts inside them, the one that will cause it to not operate are the larger contacts.
