1931 Chrysler CD Roadster Barnfind

just purchased a rare '31 Chrysler CD8 Roadster which had been barned 40+ years ago, stripped, painted all over with red oxide, and left untouched last 30+ years. anyonje have spare parts for this, drivetrain, all lights (head,tail,cowl), 6 wire wheels, F/R bumpers, miscellaneous trim? Car was "rodded" in the 1950's, classic '48 Cadillac V8, LaSalle Tranny, Auburn rear end, steel wheels, 15" on front, 16" on rear, oddball headlights and bumpers. Have not yet decided if I will restore (at a cost of $30K-$50K) or return to '50's era rod appearance (perhaps cost of $10K-$20K).

That is a cool car. I think restoring it back to original may not work financially unless the car was free.

Finding a parts car with all your needs may be your most economical way of getting it back to original, perhaps even cheaper than restoring it as a rod. The car begs to be saved.
