Your right, I was thinking that this car had been posted before and not that long ago. Looks like the seller is getting it together better in presenting it for sale. At this price and if it was down the street from me, I could see myself purchasing the car on a Best Offer basis. The parts alone are worth this. Regarding the Painting of the whole car, then repainting the sides on top of that would yield too much mil thickness on the bottom half for a stable and correct paint job and would be wasteful as well. The belt line stainless spears act to conceal the divide. Be nice if he would show the engine, trunk, bottom and inside shots however.

I would buy this car if it was in Chicago. Too expensive to ship 1000 miles!

So Rent a U-haul trailer. Only about 1200 miles or so one way. U would still be way ahead of the game (((:/

For the price it looks like a very good deal. Perhaps the seller would go a bit lower and that could offset the shipping costs.

I have a '56 Roadmaster, and the interior is so different, I love that huge glovebox!

Well for the record we thinks the car is worth at least the asking price and if he can hold out, considerably more. Too bad in the end we almost never find out what they actually sold for.

$1600 to ship is too much for me. If I had a trailer and time I'd get it but I have neither!
