Terry Wiegand Posted September 10, 2014 Share Posted September 10, 2014 Bob, I have heard the old timers talk about using Aviation Perma-Tex on threaded studs like this. The stuff is black and gooey as all heck, but, it works in an application like this. With a non-pressurized cooling system like you have this should work just fine.
