Guest Ryan Hauge
Help! I recently acquired a transmission with a bunch of Ford model T parts. I know its not T and I'm now thinking it's a stude. Any help would be great! I believe it's a 3 speed with reverse. I would like to know the year and if there are any parts available for it. Thanks Ryan.
dictator27
Hi RyanDo not believe this is a Studebaker transmission. Studebaker made their own transmissions throughout the 1920's and would have the Studebaker logo cast into them. This trans appears to be from that period, but has W G (Warner Gear) on it. T2 would be the trans model. The K might be a clue.Terry

studeboy
I believe this is a Warner gear T-2, type C-7 transmission. A warner gear T-3 fits a 1930 Franklin. The warner and Borg companies combined in 1928 so it probably dates from before or at the time of merger.
