MCHinson
Trying to help someone identify a Brass Lamp. Here is what he knows about it. "I have an old stand-alone light that I have no idea of it's origin. My father had it mounted on a hall way, but I never asked him what vehicle it came from. The reflector is sterling silver and it has been modified to take a 110 light bulb. You can see the two bronze "L" brackets on the bottom of the stem which has a sizeable flange for attaching the brackets. Can you tell me what car/truck it was used on?" trimacar
Looks like 1912 Cadillac to me, although some were nickel, but the plating may have been removed...

Layden B
Solar brand sidelamp from 1914-1915, this was called " French Style" at the time. This basic lamp was built with different mounting brackets for several makes of cars. Gray and Davis also built their version of " French Style" which Cadillac used 1912-1913.
