1959 Electra 225 Riviera

Hi everyone,

Since there doesn't seem to be very many of these floating around, I wanted to share a few photos of this 59 Electra 225 Riviera that I recently bought. My cousin said he hadn't drove it in about 20 years, so it's just been sitting here. Still, it was driving when he parked it, and everything on it is original, minus the radiator. I'm hoping to get it fixed up and back on the road over the next few years.

Looks like you caught it in time, before it was sitting on the ground. I always wonder what happens to cause someone to park a car for 20 years. For several years I did not use my 56 much. One year I drove it one mile only. But I never just forgot about it.

That's a beautiful car. Looking at the photos, I'd say you have quite a bit of work to do but don't get discouraged. Working on these old cars is as much fun as driving them. Good luck with your project.
